In one of Tamara Banks’ nine assignments to Sudan and South Sudan she reported on the powerful and positive impact educated women and girls can have on their country. "Educate a boy, you educate one person. Educate a girl, you educate an entire nation," United Nations studies have shown.

Tamara has the honor of emceeing this event which will help raise money and awareness to allow Project Education South Sudan (PESS) to continue their work of transforming a nation through educating a sector of the population that is often ignored. Former Lost Boy Daniel Gai will be back in Denver from South Sudan to share the great strides this country and PESS has made since 2011.
